Dear Sirs at MIR,
I have never felt compeled enough to enter my comments on any website. I must however, make an exception in your case. I just wanted you to know that I believe your site to be one of the finest and most informative sites I have ever had the pleasure to peruse. I found it only because I was searching for information on the Canon F1N. Well, of course you already know what happened next..... I was absolutely flabergasted to encounter such a plethora of information and useful knowledge of this (my favorite)camera system. I believe you have probably forgotten more than I will ever be able to learn about the F1N. I am humbly in your debt for your service to those of us who are still fans of manual SLR´s (Canon, in particular)and their accessories.
Thank you so much.
If I may ever be of service, please do not hesitate to ask.
Sincerely,
Edison Roberts, Photojournalist, & Owner,

This photographic website is absolutely fantastic ! It puts the commercially motivated official Nikon site to shame - perhaps, the Comapny should consider buying the entire content from you to rename it as theirs - at least let us see how committed are they in product support even though they have been discontinued. Living in the past of telling how great their cameras were is no use to loyal users in practical term. For that, I salute the effort of the team who out in the effort of creating this best Nikon site on the Net thus far ! Bravo, Bravo ...

I have been using a Nikon FE and a FM2 for many years. Perhaps it was time to shift to an AF body where I can still use my manual focus lenses. I am considering between an used N8080s and a F4 and finally has decided to settle with the latter - much due to comprehensiveness of information available in this great Nikon web resource. Just thought of leaving a note to thank the creator for his insight reviews to shed some lights for people like me. Have a good day. You bet I will be coming back for more visits... from Tucson, USA.

Let me express my deep and real pleasure on your page. I come back to it again and again when looking for information on cameras and lenses, or....just for reading through it and finding things of general importance for a camera colector and - to some extend - dealer, as I am. I collect and of course use my cameras, too. My favorites are the cameras of the eighties, such as Nikon F3, EL-2, F2, but also Leica, Rollei, Contax, Canon, Pentax. I own a lot of bodies with fine lenses and do some trading on ebay with them. The goal is like washing gold in a river: to select the dirt from the gold. Some gold remained in my collection is an F2, F3 with a set of Nikkor lenses, LeicaR3/4/SL-2 with a set of best Leitz lenses, a RTS, a T90/A1, Pentax MX/Super-A/ME, a Zenza-Bronica. Your page is really a never-ending source of useful information, even better than all brochures and instruction manuals ... Thanks for a great work on the net. Best regards. Stefan

I just wanted to thank you for publishing the Minolta X700 manual at your site, as we have had our camera for 15 years and the manual was lost long ago. I'm doing a Pro photography course now and desperately needed the manually to find out the advanced features of the camera, so was very glad to find it at your site. I am also impressed with your beginners guide to the basics of exposure and depth of field. It is a good explanation and filled in some gaps for me that my lecture notes did not explain. Thanks again!, Lianne Blanch, Australia
