Hello mr Leofoo. A few days ago I found your site on the internet and discovered vital information about the camera and the flash that I bought nearly a year ago: a Contax RTS and the TLA 30 flash. Thanks to your effort I will to be able to improve my use of the camera substantially and therefore I thank you very, very much. When I will be using the camera in the future I wil think of you. I hope my pictures will improve so that they be worth be the energy you spend on scanning the manuals and building the website. Greetings from Holland Will Derks Nijmegen (Holland)

A friend gave me a dirty, unkept camera a few years ago. The shutter was locked-up and was in need of new felt. After cleaning and working with it for awhile it looked brand new and has worked great ever since. I didn't realize until lately what a treasure I had been given as it was a Nikon F2 ! I have researched this camera before but have not found the actual site that included my camera, Until now. Your site has given me a new dimension in photography. I was guessing about what buttons to push. Now I can push the right ones. Thank-You.... Al, Sales Manager, Frank R Close & Sons.

Dear "leofoo", I just want to thank you for your immensely useful and informative photography resources website! Photography (35 mm SLR, primarily B&W) was a hobby of mine for many years, although for various reasons it has become a much smaller part of my life. However, I now have the pleasure of supporting my teenaged daughter in her evolving photography interests, and your site's contents has been ***extremely*** helpful (and interesting, and entertaining) in guiding our equipment purchases (recently, a used Nikon FM; soon, some additional lenses).

Thanks so much for your great work!

I have an old FtB (+ Voightlanders etc)which I was not using and I was getting a little fed up with the average pictures taken with my old twin lens compact. OK but no great shakes. I think it is because I didnot have to work at it. They were "snaps". I have been thinking how to get into the essential digital side of things and using my camera and a scanner appears sensible and relatively cheap. I do need some decent lenses (FD's ) and found your site. Great site, enthusiastic and informative. Very impressed.
Best wishes

Congratulations - this is an excellent site especially for the Olympus cameras. I have two OM2 bodies (one black other silver) with a whole load of lenses: 24mm 35mm 28mm 35-70mm 80-210mm (Tokina but very good) 135mm 300mm. Most of the kit is second hand. When I travel I use the chome body because it wears better and use either 35mm or 35-70mm - its that simple. I mainly travel in SE Asia (See my website!)and so I need a camera simple and robust. I found this totally reliable although I got the black OM2 serviced at Colchester Cameras (UK) because the flash contact didnt work. I use slide film for my travel work and scan back home on my PC. For nightime use and family/friends snaps I use an Olympus Mju zoom 115 with print film. This is really good and harly ever produces a duff exposure. Its waterproof (they say) and fits into the pocket - wow!
