YU FO SI, Shanghai
The main Vihan of the temple is not
very spacious but considered well utilized for its purpose to serve for devotees.
The center stage of the Viharn has three large-scale Buddha statues which are, like
most of the Buddha figures with similar form that can be found in many Chinese temples,
made of typically hand crafted from hard woods, later coated with a layer of gold
paint on it. Each of these large scale Buddha statues presents the interior of the
main reception hall with a very harmonic and serene feel which would keep visitors
self-discipline and well behaved. At the back, there is a doorway which leads to
another area at the back portion of the YUFOSI temple, where presentation over there
is all together quite different from the main hall at the front end.
The visitors flow into the temple is
continuous, as the charm of Shanghai city is never short of tourists who may be traveling
in from other Chinese cities or provinces close by, which was why explained there
are so many buses and coaches which constantly have to struggle to find parking with
the alleys. So, my best suggestion for you is, just take a cabbie and drop you off
somewhere closeby. The same is for leaving, walk a distance and hire a cap and head
			home.
