Ipoh IF you have a little patience in exploring, the
rear section of Nan Tian Dong Taoist Temple has another world of its own. Unlike the flat basin
found at the neighboring San Bao Dong
Buddhist Temple, the rear cave is an extension; I would think the passge way was
originallly being enlarged for its acess to the back. Sadly, the picture that I have
taken was badly exposed as it is quite dim in there and I cannot show you the entire
view.

the back. The ONLY complain I have is, It is UNDER UTILIZED. Should have a few ways
to make it betteras this cave inside the Nan Tian Dong is very SPACIOUS.

The recent trip to ths taoist temple, I had a chance
for a chat with some shops owner as well as this Chinese Art painter who was assigned
to retouch the colourful scruptures on temple exterior. The photo of the monkeys
at play was taken at the rear cave opening. Seen with an explosive view of one of
them (top and Bottom of this page) shows it is the most common specie found in Peninsular
Malaysia. They looks wild (not so sure if they are tamed) but it is good to keep
a safe distance from them (esp. those who carries Cameras or Video etc.) hehe ...
