Depends on how you look at it, the place can be for believers worship , people who might appreciate and thankful for the early settlement of the Chinese in the country or simple for sight seeing to get a feel on ways of life for some quarters of the local Chinese practices. I came here twice recently to accompany two friends who came seeking for inner comfort for respective reasons. I took my opportunity to perform a prayer as well as preparing a short photographic journal to introduce this unique location in the heart of KL city as well.
Contradict to popular beliefs, XIANSI SHIYE is comprised of two personalities, XIAN-SHIYE as well as SI-SYIYE. Both had their statues locate at the center of the temple main hall - both believed to have been installed here back in 1864.
