Leica M6 TTL LHSA * w/Leica Rapidwinder-M LHSA (10443) Black Paint Special
Edition, 2000
LHSA, in conjunction with Leica AG
has released another Special Edition using the new Leica M6 TTL model the basis for
the Kit. Various camera specifications as well companion accessory has been carefully
drawn into the plan to enhance its collectible value. The main highlight of this
special edition includes a black paint finishing M6 TTL with 0.72 finder spec camera
body, along with a matching black paint Leicavit-M. One of the rare feature of this
Special Edition M6TTL LHSA is, probably it is the few** known Leica camera bodies that
were being authorised officially by Leica AG with use of alternate color for the
Leica roundel on an actual Leica issued product(s). According to references, this
Black Paint LHSA Special Edition unit w/ an unusual black Leica roundel/logo has
a total issued quantiy of 1,000 Units being offered to LHSA members but some were
being released through other Leica outlets. It was learnt that by 2001, only 3,000
Rapidwinders were being produced for M-bodies. Standard Rapidwinder usually are produced
in matte black or gross black finishing, the LHSA edition has a LHSA logo printed
on the rear bottom section. The Rapindwinders was made in Canada. It do produced
in other variations such as in exclusive 24K Gold or plated gold, Titanium, grey-hammertone
finishing and even in red, green turquoise, Grey Enamel etc. The LHSA edition is
