LEICA M6 TTL Black Paint, Öresundsbron
Edition has a basic configuration of just the camera body only. It was not known
why the balance of the 75 units were not being bundled with a lens. Perhaps Nordisk
Foto Imports A/S was a little skeptical whether the whole consignment would be easily
disposed off and had made a simple, bare basic configuration.
For those who might be murmuring with lack of companion optic, don't be. Because
regardless how, the release of this special edition was still considered to be a
localized edition where the target audience were mainly aiming at the EU, in particularly
Leica faithful or even Nationals within the Scandinavian countries. Like it or don't
- special releases of Leica collectible with a localized theme has its own market
and for those who had never been to visit the landmark may not be so attached with
such a theme of release in a LEICA camera.
For collectors outside the continent, probably other than those who are genuine collectors
who just wanted to collect a complete set of M6 special editions and/or those who
bought the idea of RARE but be good kind of mentality users, it may need some justification
to invest into one of these units. Esp. with the Summilux-M 1:1.4/50 ASPH or the
1:2/35 ASPH bundled units.

On the other hand, if all you need is
just to own a Leica with a little extra, special touch of rarity in hand for general
photography, there might be other equal or even better alternatives. Whatever it
is, in comparison with the Royal Wedding Edition, this LEICA M6 TTL Black Paint,
Öresundsbron Year 2000 edition has a far superior specification as well as a
longer, more lasting theme for its issue especially in each of the beautifully matched
optic that it came along with. Overall, although this special released Leica edition
model lacks a universal theme otherwise which would made it an extremely collectible
Leica cameras for Leica collectors worldwide.
