The manual exposure control , Aperture Priority AE (With AE Finder)
and Shutter Priority AE (With Winder or Motor Drive FN attached)
On manual mode, match needles by placing $traight meter needle through center
of circular aperture needle. On stopped-down manual, aperture needle disappears.
Align meter needle with fixed index at f-5.6. Shutter speed is in window below scale.
Red zones at top indicate overexposure at three minimum apertures. Red zone at bottom
indicate underexposure.
On shutter priority automatic, moving needle indicates aperture selected by
camera. Shutter-speed setting appears in window. Red zones indicate over- or underexposure.
On aperture-priority automatic, moving needle shows shutter speed selected
by camera. Aperture setting of New FD lens appears in window. Red zones indicate
overor underexposure. Stopped-down automatic display is similar except lens aperture
not visible.
