Introduced in 1965 as an alternate option for consumer who wishes a cheaper, more portable SLR camera from the professional Nikon F system camera. Nikormat FT is simply a bare basic mechanical SLR camera without any built-in metering capability. As it has a few built-in meter models such as the Nikkormat FTN, FT2, FT3 and the electronic EL series as alternative, it was only being enjoyed a short span of time in the product line. NOTE: the shown model is "NIKOMAT" - Japan Domestic version, which uses a different name. All camera functions between the two series are remained identical. By the way, have you seen a Nikon F2 DUMMY display camera unit before ? NO ? Click here. |
