To those who may have a secondary objective in mind,
one of the most appealing zone of this memorial temple is a section that locates
at the left hand section, inside, you will find a room dedicated for TAISUI-YE. Tai Sui , in Chinese, is deity in charge of the current year
who rules over all the deities. As there are 60 Cycles, therefore theoretically,
there are a total of 60 Tai Sui where each Tai Sui regulates each particular Chinese
calendar year. In popular Chinese belief, as each TAISUI commands a year, people
avoid in offending the TAISUI because it might cause or bring bad fortune. So, as
each symbols of year born of any individual, they will try to see if it conflicts
with the TAISUI for that particular year, if it does, then try to pacify and enshrine
the Tai Sui and it is through prayers and his blessing, hope to minimize or, avoid
any bad fortune that might occur to someone. There are ways, means and rules on HOW-TO
perform the ritual in prayers, while personnel in the temple will offer their help
to guide through the processes. Probably to many of the parents and/or students,
this is also the place to seek good luck and blessing by the TAISUI. HOW ? oh ..
such as students who may be going for an important examination, you will have to
write down the name, birth date, the exam you are sitting as well as the time &
location where you will be sitting for the examination onto a red paper and hang
on a piece of long wood. Naturally, if you have scored highly in your academic results,
you probably have to come back to repay thankfulness on the luck SHIYE and/or TAISUI
who had brought you, that is all.

NOTE:
The temple charges some nominal fees (RM60~RM80) for performing each official request
on HOW-TO change of luck and blessing for individual or family. HOWEVER, these are
repay back to society either by charity or for academic purposes. For an instance.
SHIYE-MIAO had donated RM680,000-00, approx. USD230,000 approved and dispersed for
scholarship purpose alone). The scholarship applications, is opened for applications
each year for all races. |
