Jen Siow is based in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur specialising in traditional photography and applied digital imaging technology.

His Art & Design education began in the United Kingdom. After three years of fun, frolic and lots of girls, Jen returned to Malaysia and was attached to one of the major photography studio. The industry was at its infancy at that time and Jen photographed everything under the sun, from aerial shots to underwater photography to fashion photography.

Jen Studio was incorporated in 1982.

By then time, Jen was already receiving wide acclaim for his work on beauty, glamour and fashion, though other topics such as food, annual reports and still life weren't left out. An ardent teacher, Jen also taught for eight years at a local art college and ITM Malaysia in Shah Alam.

Today, Jen continues his contribution in the academic field in the form of talk shows, demos, lectures, articles in photographic magazines, even adjudicating photo competitions. He is also available for consultation on photography and digital imaging setups.

Jen had an early introduction to digital photography courtesy of Gary Chin, then art director of PBF Malaysia. His thirst for further knowledge led him to the Center for Creative Imaging in Camden Maine in the US. There, Jen was privileged enough to be under the tutelage of Ryszard Horowitz, Bob Bowen and Bill Niffenegger, all famous digital gurus in the digital imaging world. Jen admits that he owes his success to these renowned personalities.

After three years of pain, joy and sorrow, Jen is happy and privileged to be able to offer his clients 20 years of conventional photography experience and his relatively newfound digital imaging skills. Currently, Jen utilises
Live Picture, Photoshop and Painter.
