As explained. This is the third upgrade from the original version.
Almost perfect and custom made for
Pentax LX. Very reliable in terms of performance and reliability for the housing and camera housed within. The professional level Pentax LX is famed for its sealed body construction with high quality O-Rings seals against possible penetration or leakage of moisture. Key elements for consideration is its compact size, weight and hybrid shutter.

Favourite setup is for the 105mm SMC Macro lens. To improve ergonomics of the Hugy UFO-Marine underwater housing for Pentax LX a tailor made casted aluminium trigger handle is contructed (5) and an Ikelite Macro port is married to the most incredible housing by Hugyphot. Though shutter speed (1) is adjustable (Removed by request), it was always preset at 1/60th sec. The aperture control is on the right on the port above. However, the most used apertures underwater are f16 and f22 for maximum depth of field. (7) Is the control knob for aperture control.

The 45 degree angle viewfinder (3) is invaluable for low angle macro picture and the bonuses are the significant magnification of the image by the condenser lens of the viewing port and the image is full frame.

Underwater strobes are attached to the housing (6) with special ball and socket arms which slotes onto the shoes mounted at the sides of the housing. The large focusing knob (4) is positive in action and is ideally position for good ergonomics.
