It was a cold saturday morning when I visited this primary school in the remote northen Yunan province of China. The facilities were very basic; no heating, no lighting, the class room is in a state disrepair. Nevertheless, the kids were happyly engrossed in their study without any complaint on the hostile enviorement. In comparisation, more and more students and parents in the advanced and developing countries are blaming their school facilities and enviorement as one of the reasons when the student failed to achieve acedemic excellence.
