The strobe operation can emit up to 40 flashes per second and it is a high powered unit for cine 18 fps or 24 fps or extra-rapidly moving subject, action freezing photography. For motor drive photography, the unit operated at 1/8 illumination power that can synchronize for up to 3.8 fps. 6 light intensity setting, built in stopper for overheating. It can mount directly on the F2 while providing a built in hot shoe connection or adapters for other cameras. Power is supplied by a Nikon SA-3 AC Power Unit. Open flash and a ready light are both built in.
Of course, by today's standard, there are many options. But the SB6 repeating flash was made for the F2 20 years ago, can compared by direct comparision. Remember, F2 is a mechanical body, pal.
