Tut's wife's Nang Phaya

Another Nang Phaya posseion of Tut and his wife   Another old Phra ROD krut Wat Hao Kuang

The shown Nang Praya are her wife possession. The Nang Phaya at left is Nang Phraya Saneyan Phim-Lek. Many people regard the Nang Phaya amulets as women specific. Although many amulet collector refer the pieces from Phitsanuloke dark clay are good peices, personally, I find amny nothern images of Nang Praya with red clay or wood have a more appealing factor. Some good Phra Nang Kamphang from kamphengphet share many similarities with Nang Praya but nothing is comparable to original source.

Phra 3 Velang Ta kan rear section view

Being a native Khun Thai from Chiangmai, even when surrounded by day to day operation in Internet, IT & computers etc. (not to mention all those beautiful Chiangmai gals that circle around his daily life after work...), Jeeraphan ("Tut") still finds a small corner for Buddhism in his heart (he told me his late father was another fanatic). Here is a very old piece (estimate to be around 800 years old) of a "Phra 3 Velang Ta kan" Front Section (132k) | Rear Section
