105mm f/4 Bellows-Nikkor

This lens is designed exclusively for use with the Bellows Focusing Attachments. Focus is only with the bellows. Permits crisp and sharp close-ups with ample working distances. Continuously focused from infinity to 1/1.1X with the PB-3 Bellows, or to 1.3X with the PB4 or PB-5 Bellows. Preset diaphragm is included.

The lensboard of the PB4 swings and shifts to increase depth of field and the whole unit can be moved on the lower track for fine focusing. The BR2 Macro Adapter Ring permits reverse mounting of any of your lens with 52mm-front thread on the Bellows Focusing Attachments for optimum optical performance in macrophotography. For convenient copying of your color slides and black-and-white transparencies, use the Slide Copying Adapter PS4 or PS-5 on the bellows Model PB-4 or PB-5. The BR-3 Adapter serves as a connecting adapter to couple the bellows of the Slide Copying Adapter to the rear of the lens which is reversely positioned. Designed exclusively for the bellows attachments, the 105mm f/4 Bellows-Nikkor, which has no focusing mechanism, will let you take pictures continuously from infinity to 1.3X with the PB4 or PB-5. If you're conducting critical reproduction work calling for high magnifications, such as copying documents, maps and pictures or photographing small objects and specimens, the Repro-Copy Outfit Model PF gives you the firm support you need when your Nikon F is mounted with any of the above close-up attachments.

Bellows Types 2, 2A

There are 3 types of Bellows Focusing Attachments, Models PB-3, PB-4 and PB-5. They fit between the camera body and lens without an adapter. They are the most flexible single accessories for close-up and macro-photography with the Nikon F. They accept almost all Nikkor lenses, providing a continuous focusing range for close-ups. They can be used on a tripod or with the Repro-Copy Outfit.

PB-3 Bellows
Bellows Focusing Attachment PB-3

This type has simpler construction than other models. It is lightweight, only 7.8 oz. (220g).Slidecopying is NOT possible with this model. With a 50mm f/2 lens, reproduction ratios range from 1/1.6 to 2.8X. With the lens reversed, reproduction ratios range from 1.4 to 3.5X.

PB-4 Bellows
Bellows Focusing Attachment PB-4
This is the most versatile of all the Nikon Bellows Focusing Attachment. Depth of field can be increased and converging lines corrected for with the swing or shift of the front lens board. It has dual twin tracks. On the lower track, the camera and lens can be moved as a single unit for fine focusing adjustment without changing the lens-to-film distance.

The camera can be attached or detached from the bellows, or turn to a vertical or horizontal format any position on the track. Duplication of 35mm film can be made readily with Model PS4 or Model PS-5 Slide Copying Adapters. Reproduction ratios with a 50mm f/2 lens ranges from 1/1.2 to 3.6X. Reverse the lens and reproductian ratios can range from 1.6 to 4.4X. attachment weighs 42.3 oz. (1,200 g).

PB-5 Bellows
Bellows Focusing Attachment PB-5

A simplified version, without the lower track or shift/swing mechanism of the front lens board of the Model PB-4. This model accepts the PS4 or PS-5 Slide Copying Adapters. It weighs 29.6 oz.

PB-6 Bellows

A twist of the knob lets you vary the lens extension at will, producing frame-filling images of the most minute subjects. Provides continuously variable extension from 48mm to 208mm. For motorized bodies or newer built in AF cameras, the Bellows Spacer PB-6D enables moving a Nikon F5, F4E, F4s or F3 with MD-4 on the PB-6 rail without interference. * Note: An Auto Extension Ring is required when the PB-6 is used with the F5.

When used with a 20mm mount reversely with the PB6, an astounding 23X life size can be achieved, the highest in the Nikon system.

Slide Copying Attachment

PS-4 Slide Copying Adapter

SIide Copying Adapter PS-4

Designed for use with the Model PB-4 Bellows for simple duplication of 35mm slides or film strips. Both cropping and horizontal/vertical directional shifts are possible. When not in use, the bellows is folded into the adapter unit. It is kept in place out of sight with a magnet to protect it from damage. The PS-4 is also usable with the PB-5 bellows.

PS-5 Slide Copying Adapter

It is designed for the Model PB-5 Bellows. Except for film strip trays and the frame-shifting mechanism, it has almost the same features as the PS4 Adapter. It is also usable with the PB4 Bellows.

PS-6 Slide Copying Adapter
Used with PB6 and a Nikkor lens to make duplicate slides. Cropping is also possible.

PB-6M Macro Copy Stand

Attach to the end of the PB6 to convert it to a miniature copy stand or specimen stage.
