1). Cancel Auto Exposure Bracketing. Press SET/RESET button and confirm function set indicator next to the Auto Exposure Bracketing symbol disappears. If you have selected Compensation Degree for Auto Exposure Bracketing as a data to be imprinted, canceling Auto Exposure Bracketing cancels Compensation Degree for Auto Exposure Bracketing and activates Caption of up to 18 characters Near (4-digit) as a data.
Note: Auto Exposure Bracketing and the camera's Custom Settings are discussed in detail in the F5 instruction manual.

Combining MF-28 Functions The MF-28's functions-In-Frame Data Imprint, Between Frames Data Imprint, Interval Timer, Long Time Exposure, Focus-Priority (Freeze Focus), and Auto Exposure Bracketing can be combined. When combining functions, note the following:

Combining Interval Timer and Long Time Exposure functions

* Setting camera's shutter speed to resets the Interval Timer function. To combine Interval Timer and Long Time Exposure functions, first set the Long Time Exposure. * If you try to set the interval time to less than the Long Time Exposure duration +2 seconds, the function set indicator next to the Long Time Exposure symbol blinks twice to recommend a longer interval time.

Combining Interval Timer and Auto Exposure Bracketing functions First set Interval Timer then set Auto Exposure Bracketing. The number of frames set for Auto Exposure Bracketing has priority over the number set for Interval Timer. Setting Auto Exposure Bracketing causes the function set indicator () next to Interval Timer symbol to blink twice, indicating frames set for Interval Timer have been automatically canceled, Canceling Auto Exposure Bracketing resets to number of frames for Interval Timer.

Combining Auto Exposure Bracketing and Long Time Exposure functions Without flash: Will take your set number of frames but exposure will not be compensated. With flash: Will take your set number of frames with compensated flash output level.

W A R N I N G: The new G-SERIES Nikkor lenses have removed the conventional aperture ring on the lense barrel, they CANNOT adjust aperture(s) when operating in manual exposure control even with certain earlier MF/AF Nikon SLR camera models. But they are FULLY COMPATIBLE with the Nikon F5 featured here in all usable metering systems and/or exposure modes. Please refer to your local distributor for compatibility issue(s).
