this particular unit were from Photo Arsenal Worldwide®,

of this page.
Good thing is, smart
and experienced photo equipment shops usually know what do collector expect to see
or ask. This auctioned unit of the Leica MP has an exposed base plate, removed to
show the "P375" number printed on the the base of the shutter crate. See
the last picture of this page.

LEICA MP-386
chrome double stroke, w/Leicavit MP, 1957
Chrome Leica MP in 100% original and
fully working condition, number also engraved internally on chassis, with matching
Leicavit MP, Summicron 2/5cm no. 119249x. These cameras were built in small numbers
(with a total of 252 chrome items) for professional use. Only few of these cameras
survived in un-restored original condition with all original features (double-stroke
film advance, no self timer, early strap lugs etc.). Despite it looks new and perfect
for me, Leicashop®, the auctioneer does has their own way in determine the rating
system. It is being rated as "B". Whatever, don't expect it comes cheap
- having a start price of EUR 9.000 and a hammer price of EUR 21.600-00• for this
beautiful set.
* NOTE;- Indicative price here in this site were based original
prices published on previous auction literature/references. Prices may vary according
to gradual yearly premium, supply/demand equations, and/or other renewed valuation
methods.

NOTE:-
T Leica MP showcase may have other Leica MP model in different spec and/or configuration
to show. IF anyone has a personal unit intends to exhibit his prized possession and/or
for equipment specialist who may intend to extend the reach of a possible sale/auction,
just contact my buddy, Mr. Rick <rick_oleson@yahoo.com>. Appropriate
credit and return Link will be provided. Further, I guess a LEICA MP/Leicavit instruction Manual would be nice to be included in this site as shared resources too.
Anyone is good at French ? I managed to download a copy of the original
Leicavit-M Instruction Manual written in French. Looking for those who have nothing
to do at night and can find some time volunteer to translate the few pages back to
English for me). Note:- I can't pay for such services..hehe.
Tips: For those who has user's manual for rare Leica collectibles; in case
you don't have a table top scanner to scan the copy of the instruction manual, Just
use a Digital Compact, shoot the pages in highest resolution in broad daylight should
be good enough for me to do a HTML format conversion.
