An early, olive color painted Leica M3, by Leitz company in restored condition with
Bundeseigentum engravings, the companion lenses used is a Leitz Elmar 2.8/5cm, Hektor
4.5/13.5cm which came with a matching green, olive colored leather, engraved: Matching
colored Bundeseigentum, Leicameter MC & Booster in green/olive leather cases,
green Bundeseigentum-outfit case. Approx. Year: 1957
"... Olive green Leica M3 were
designed for German army, (100 Units in 1957) with last batch (38 units) produced
in 1968 i,e. the last batch were produced even after M3 was officially discontinued/ceased

NOTE:- The color of the model shown below somehow
was not the same with the "Olive Green" model featured above or the Leica M3 Olive Bundeseigentum
outfit, 1959. There
were references that stated there were OLIVE as well as Olive Green between the two
series. Please take notice of the Serial Number engraved at the rear section of the
outfit below. The unit shown above doesn't has the S/N engraving. As there were two
batches of Olive/Green Bundeseigentum camera being produced (1957 & 1968); these
two could had came from the two separate production. Anyone can help me with this
info ?
