Here is a very good illustration as
well as some good points presented / provided by a seasoned trader in the business.
Conducting auction sales can be a very demanding task. Other than maintaining creditability
by protecting the buyer and sellers interest, one also has to be very experienced
in identifying the hardware in their respective origin, year of produce. Further,
to grade a collectible set, you also require to provides points of reference without
making any unwarranted conclusion that may affect the neutral status. Providing honest,
trustworthy unique grading system is probably another important element in the trade.
So, sometimes the description in an auction trade can pick up plenty of useful references
for individual who (like me) intends to learn more in this specific interest of collectible
oldies business in camera/lenses.
The model below is a Leica M3 which
has no basis for cross references. It lack basic kind of information such as Model
code and doesn't even has a Serial number. So, let us read how Leicashop handles
this interesting camera and where does/how to they position such a camera in Leica
oldies Collecting.
