Olympus Shared Resources - Zuiko Lenses |
"... Hi Rick,. The Sinar camera that these lenses were used on was probably the Sinarcam. It had the first Kodak 6 Mp chip,I think. On the shot from the Sinar site the lens on that camera is (I think) the OM Zuiko 24mm shift.Vaguely I can remember Sinar offering the camera with a choice of Nikon or OM mount around 1997/8. Probably not a lot of lenses sold with the Sinaron Digital designation.I could imagine that Nikon would be more popular among pro photographers anyway.
I've already taken the photo's of the lenses against a grad background. So, sorry no pure white.Anyway,I'm putting the lenses up for auction on eBay soon.I didn't buy them to keep..just cannot afford my old hobby of collecting nice Zuiko glass.Times change, alas. Regards..." - S. Martin -These items are current being auctioned at:

A little info relating to Sinar's Sinoron OM-Mount 35mm format lenses: A total of six OM Zuiko lenses have been converted as Sinora compact digital lenses
<<<--- Lense used in this illustration was an OM Zuiko Auto zoom 35mm-80mm f/2.8 as well as the 24mm Zuiko SHIFT
The Sinarcam 1 combines a digital adapter for the Sinar view camera system. The focusing image can be viewed on the computer monitor as a high-resolution live-video image of any desired size. In combination with the Leaf Volare digital back. Its universal adaptability features the possibility of quickly and easily converting the compact camera into a professional camera (by attaching it to a Sinar P2 Camera). The adaptation principle permits attachment of lenses from a great variety of manufacturers via a lens adapter board(s) where each board caomes with automatic springloaded aperture control (auto) automatically stop the lens down to the preselected working aperture when the live focusing image is turned off, Other than Sinar's own Sinaron Digital lenses in DB mounts (with the Sinar p2 view camera), the Compact version of the camera can also be used with lenses from Nikon, Olympus, Leica R or even the medium format lenses from Hasselblad & Mamiya 64 (rerquires a special shift board that provides the compact version of the Sinarcam with the capability of perspective correction). The Leaf Volare Digital Back produces images with a resolution of 3,072 x 2,048 pixels at a color depth of 14 Bit per color (16,384 gray tones).
There are little info provided on the actual family of OM Zuiko converted lenses but Sinar's site has posted Cano's EF mount info (probably due to viable commercial reasons on the pool of mass market users':
